Ride to Brooklyn's Beach
The Ocean Parkway bike path takes you from Prospect Park all the way to Coney Island — America's oldest bike path leading to one of America's most famous beaches. It's the perfect summer destination ride.
The Route
The 5-mile ride follows Ocean Parkway, a tree-lined historic boulevard. You'll pass through diverse Brooklyn neighborhoods before arriving at the Coney Island boardwalk.
What to Do
Lock your bike and enjoy the beach, grab a Nathan's hot dog, ride the Cyclone, or just stroll the boardwalk. The ride back is slightly uphill but very manageable.
